I use smugmug to sell my prints. I love it. Simple, and I have never had an issue with it.

Same here...I have two smugmug sites, tnicol.smugmug.com and www.tomnicolphotography.com (external link). The first is their lowest level, the second is what they call their professional level. Both have unlimited storage, easy uploading, and great customer support. The professional level allows you to customize the site to whatever degree you're comfortable doing. They both work great for me.

We actually have 3 account levels. www.smugmug.com/price (external link) Standard/Power/Pro ($40/$60/$150 per year respectively)

If you buy the Standard or the Power account level, you can sell photos BUT you can not set your own print & gift prices to make commissions on each sale.

You can only do that with our Pro account. www.smugmug.com/pro (external link)

If you want to get a 50% discount off your first year, enter the word: yahoo in the coupon code when signing up for your free trial :)

Bill -

How do you get it to go straight to the page for each couple? I have SmugMug, but right now, I can only get it to go to the main page, then the bride and groom select the gallery for their pictures.

I would also like to know where you got that background pic. It looks great.

Thanks.

If you give someone the entire link to their gallery, e.g. http://www.tomnicolphotography.com/gallery/311874 (external link) then it'll go right there. Otherwise they can navigate there from the hope page assuming you've made that possible.

how do you guys do the print ordering? do you give them a dvd of all the images so they can print it themselves, thus negating the purpose of setting your own print prices?

I do both...the online gallery is there in any case, plus a CD with all the same high resolution images is available for an extra charge.

can you add a music slideshow? and do you have to do most of the work yourself or are there awesome templates and it does most of the work for you? Final question - do you get to keep 100 percent of your sales?
