Also, had the chance to shoot Erin, who was one of my neighbors growing up. We shot at Elmwood park in Omaha, which has a ton of possibilities for photos, I will definitely be going back with more seniors. C&C appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Looks like a great area to shoot in - so many textures and different ideas available! I think she'll love 'em!

I like the other set better, but I think these are all nice too. Here eyes are kind of dark in a lot of them and maybe needed (more) fill flash?
Something about her pose in #1 seems really awkward, and the photo is maybe a bit dark to me.
I love that wall in 2 and 3, and the photos. The only thing that stuck out was that her skin looks really red, but it looks like maybe she just has really red skin in reality. Looks like a great genuine smile in 4.
i don't know about the angle and pose on 5.
I like 6.
Would probably crop 7 a little tighter.
8 is definitely my favourite. I really like your B&W conversions. Beautiful.

Thanks Amanda! I know what you mean about the skin tones being quite red. I'll have a play with the luminosity to see if I can get rid of a bit of it. I'll have a play at lightening up the photos and her eyes as well, my monitor at home runs a bit dark (it is currently uncalibrated, but I have a calibrator on the way) and I was making photos too bright for a while so I backed it off a bit, obviously too much. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

What a pretty girl. I love 2, 6 & 7 ... she is "top heavy" and it makes it difficult to find a pose that doesn't emphasize that. Trust me, I "suffer" from this and it is probably why I hate all of my photos. I really, really like how 7 turned out ... gonna have to consider this pose for myself. Not sure why it "de-emphasizes" other than stretching her out a bit, but it works.

something about her right hand/arm in #5 kind of bugs me ... i think its crossing over her chest looks awkward??? maybe having the left hand up where her right hand is, and just laying her left arm across her knee or grabbing her left shin??? i dont know though haha.

the last one looks a little blown out too ... to bright for my taste but to each his own so ya never know

For some reason I would crop tighter on #1, 3, 4, 6, and 7. Too much background in my opinion, though the wall you have her in front of is fantastic. A neat shot would have been her from the side leaning against the wall with the wall fading into a nice receding blur. Guess that's my vision though!

Thanks for commenting :). On #5, I didn't actually pose it that way. She was moving into another pose at that time and using her right arm to move. It was a quick snap, but reminded me of an ad I had seen somewhere. I did get some shots with her right hand down. The last one is my attempt at the high contrast black and white I saw in the recent issue of Rangefinder, which is supposed to be the new *IN* thing with senior shots, but it remains to be seen whether she will like it or not :) Thanks again for C&C :)

Thanks for commenting. On the cropping, gotta leave room for the 8x10 crops! :p but there is a lot of background and depending on which size photo's she wants I will crop a bit of it out for the finished product. I love the shot idea! I took a couple of her leaning on the wall, but none from the side like that. Thanks again for commenting! :)

I'd love to see the same shots with a bit wider apeture, just to isolate her a touch more from some of those fantastic backgrounds, but this is a great set, I'd be happy if they were my shots.

Yeah, usually I keep my aperture down much lower (2.8 to 8), however, I mistakenly left my cameras on iso 800 from a shoot I had done the night before :o Thus I got a lot of f/16 and above (it was really bright). Thank you for your comments!

1. Don't really care for this one. To much direct sun, pose makes her chest look "saggy", hair over eye distracting.
2. Pretty good, cute real smile. Eyes look a little dark.
3. Love this one!
4. I would like this one better with a little more DOF
5. NO-NO! Bad pose:) This type of pose is much more flattering if she is lower than you.
6. Very nice, love the pose and background
7. Like this one too, very cute!
8. Cute smile, watch the shirt in the armpit wrinkle:)

Overall not bad! She should be pleased!
