internet explorer problem

having trouble with IE, when i try and post a reply here the buttons and smilies are not active. ie. they are just plat pics with nothing behind them. also in the advanced post the button to upload pics is missing.on another computer all is ok. java is installed and working, tested on other sites. cache etc has been cleard. it does say at the bottom that i am allowed to post etc. i am logged in too. i can only post texts on this computer. anyone had this problem?

i thought that would come up but this is a works computer and we cant install anything else.

hehe. I haven't had that problem when I use IE at work unfortuantely. Not yet anyway

strange is that every othe site works ok.

its a new problem
maybe some setting needs changing.probably a java update issue?

middle setting, it is a java problem this forum gives me errors at the bottom of the IE. all lines are java lines. will check it out more, thanks

That is a fix for most Microsoft problems. Wait a bit and the problem goes away - or comes back - or changes a bit...
