Hey guys - hoping you can answer my query, or point me in the right direction. I don't understand what CF 1 and 7 are really meant to do, they don't make sense to me, at least per the description in the user guide. I've read the guide for getting the most out of your eos1 digital slr series cameras, and that doesn't mention either CF in question.

Cheers,

Dave

never mind, here is a great article that should help you better understand all the functions:

Good link with clear explanations. I've added it to my bookmarks. Thanks!

I think I'll do that. It looks like it's going to be a dull weekend weatherwise, anyway.

Thank you thank you thank you guys! I googled and found bugger all myself. I really wish Canon would provide more information on CFs than it currently does in its user guides. They are so cryptic sometimes...

I presume the CFs are the same for both the Mark II and the Mark IIn?

Well, I'm back to bed (was up early for a few EBay bids), it's 5.39am here and I've only had a few hours of shut eye...need me beauty sleep ;)
