No, the 40D is crap if not at least(!) 100% of shots are perfectly in focus.

In the meantime I’m pretty convinced, that if the shots were taken with a Nikon, we would read some posts claiming that clearly 58 out of 54 shots were in perfect focus and Canon should learn from this example… :rolleyes:

Ed: starting at #75 (the 50% crop): the following are backfocused (look at the grass to see where the sharpest point of focus is): 76, 77, 78, 80, 81,83, 85, 86, 88, 90, 90 and then I got bored going thru them again, and stopped looking.

(I missed 82 and 84 87 89 91 as I clicked to hard with my mouse or something)

none of them are really bad, but the vast majority aren't very good, either.
