Tried out a few dragonfly shots with recently purchased 430ex.

Really nice series you've got the hang of the flash already

great shots..are u defusing the 420ex and have u got it on a braket..the reson i ask is im about to buy 400s 100mm canon macro lens and i have 420ex to go on tit..i dont need to go to 1:1 cause i have my other setn up for that/mpe-65 and 400d..

so i was wondering u think il get away with using the 420ex and 100mm lens with out braket of i dont need to go to 1:1

I used a diffuser (Sto-Fen omnibounce) with 430EX. I don't have the bracket yet, but that's definitely on my list :)
