So me and Jerry(a friend from another forum) were going to the Gay Parade here in Dallas. Well, when we got there we were informed that the parade wasn't until TOMORROW! Geez, we are dumb. Anyways, here are a few photos I took while we walked around town scoping out the area. These are not my normal type of photos I take, so i was trying something different. All of these were taken with my canon 10-22 uwa.

More photos here: http://slantphoto.smugmug.com/gallery/3483456/1 (external link)

1-Interesting art on the side of the wall. (can i sell a photo of someones artwork?)

What kind of PP do you do to these? They look tonemapped/HDRed but not really. Is it a highpass?

its all lightroom, just various presets from the internet and stuff ive made.. (and tweaks to make things work with different images)

Trying to get into more personal photography type stuff for ME other then portrait/wedding/family

nothing touched anything other then lightroom. <3 I dont touch photoshop anymore for photos. Lightroom is incredible.

Ugh, that's the new trend here in Stellenbosch (South Africa) as well. Can't stand it.

Good shots all round. Sky is a bit weird in 5 and 7, though.

Its that rocker look. You know people dont want to get leather tight pants due to maintainence/cost so they get tight blue jeans instead.

Nice series...like the colors. So did you go to the parade? took a peek at the gallery for these shots and wanted to know what the shirt on your firend said with the camera on it.

His PINK shirt says "Photography is for Lovers" and has a pic of a camera on it, totally suiting the gay parade.
