Yah, they are a manufacturer that also sells direct. They are one of the suppliers of the Arca-swiss system for tripod heads. There are so many options in this category, I wouldn't risk buying from them again. They have absolutely crappy after-sales service. The thing you have to keep in mind is that the dove tails on the plates in the Arca system are all a bit different so it's important to buy from a reseller that will help you out in case something doesn't fit. Really Right Stuff even claims that their stuff only fits with RRS and Wimberley stuff. Well, even so, I got a plate from Wimberley that did not fit on an RRS head.

Hey Muscleflex. Are you totally happy with your 16-35?

A good tripod is a great investment. I haven't had any failures with my tripod/ballhead with any of my camera/lens combinations. Bogen 3021 and 488RC0.

at the moment - yeah. i've not really used it much tho. have only shot 56 as of tonight. not had chance to fully test it yet as work's been busy and not got much time at home to play with it.
hopefully this saturday when/if the weather is nice, i'm heading to town first thing to shoot some urban shots and really test out the camera and lens.

LOL - just noticed on your sig that you put 'sucks' next to slingshot 100.
it's ok for lightweight travel...but the 1D MK III is too big and wont fit! lol so i had to buy a new bag!
