Well yesterday was my first time shooting a wedding and this was done with a friend and this was also his first wedding. Like it's been stated before, it's a long busy day and lot's of work. We were lucky enough to have a retired Pro with 2500 weddings under his belt help us with posing and direction for the must have shot's during the ceremony. It was great to have this assistance on our first wedding.
The couple and there familly were great and it made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. We started at 8:30 in the morning and I left at 10:15PM and my partner finished for the last few shots, sure makes a long day.
Will there be a second? who knows but we already had offers. :D
This is a picture of the beautiful bride who was a blast to work with, hope you enjoy.

Great photos! Congrats on making it through your first wedding! The shots of the bride and the groom are fantastic!

I would just recommend one thing... the shot of the circle of bride and bridesmaids may look better shooting from up high (like a stepladder) with the women looking up. A lot of women aren't too keen on having their chin(s) captured in a photograph... if they're looking up, then their necks are elongated.

Just a thought, but again... great photos!

They look terrific, Dan. Glad you had a good experience. You certainly have the know-how and right equipment for the job but you are right, it is a lot of hard work.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

I agree - very nice, professional looking images. I also agree on the unflattering angle that #2 puts a lot of those girls into. I try to never shoot women from below if I can at all help it!

Thanks Bailly and Jaimie, point taken on #2. The girls really liked it on the camera LCD but might think different when it's blown up. I was using the 580EX for fill outside and was not fetting consistent results, thank God for RAW.
