I bought my camera late Friday and found a duck yesterday. This is my first DSLR and I am a little overwhelmed. I have been using a Canon G3 for the past 4 years and I am having a little difficulty adapting to the speed of the 40D. I missed a few shots because I kept waiting for the camera to write to the card. The 40D does a little better than the 4 second write time of the G3!

Mine was a white duck... Pleased to get that shot out of my system so I could go shoot something more interesting at 6.5 fps... :)
