Testing my 40D focus

Took advantage this past weekend at the State Fair on some high Divers. This particular diver jumped from 80 ft into a 9 foot deep tank. I omitted a couple photos as the 6.5 FPS worked really well and wasn't much difference in the dive from 1 frame to the other. I believe from the time of the jump until he hit the water there were 10 frames shot. Also sorry for some of the cut out of the diver as this was tough trying to keep him in the Frame.

Nice series, I think you did a good job. too bad you cut off in a few shots but the ones you didn't turned out well.

Looking at these and some of your other 'animal' threads I can say this: (in response to your thread complaining about photography)
You had enough light and the right settings for these shots... It seems that on some of your others, the racoons and some of the birds that you don't have enough light for the settings you're using. A lot of the shots are soft or blurred. I honestly think you just need more practice.
