aero145 Senior Member 909 posts Joined May 2006 Location: Germany More info | Oct 06, 2007 02:09 | #20 You can't - these were speculations what Canon will come with next in the 100-400 range, and my guess was 80-400 as 70-400 is a lot of zoom (and the lens would be HUGE, which the 100-400 is not ment to be or is) and a 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L II IS USM would be highly unlikely IMO. I however wouldn't mind a 100-400L II IS that would be as sharp as the 70-200 L IS f/4 - would buy it in a heartbeat. 3rd gen. IS and weather sealing would be super too.
