Gaunemo: A lot of insects are able to change colors as a form of disguise but it is difficult to say it this is the same one in both pictures. The third picture is very good!! One has to try to move slowly closer in order not to chase them away and so get a nice close up picture of them.

It is the new curled up leaf of a fern Gaunemo.
Iam lucky to live here and have such a variety of things which I can take pictures of but up to now I have done only wildlife. I recently started seeing what I can do with macro as I do not get to the wildife areas as much as I used to.
We have had internet for quite a few years now. I use a wireless card for my connection.

It is about 2 inches in diameter Jim. I think the shot turned out pretty well too.:)
