PKRA Karting - September 15, 2007

Finished third in the slowest kart, not a bad day Took some photos, too:

I raced at that track many years ago I thought it looked familiar - do they still call that one corner "rattle snake" -
Saw Alex Baron and Pat Long race there before they became "famous"
good shots - it is hard to get good karting shots unless you get down to their level -

It's not called the rattle snake anymore, at least I've never heard anyone call it that, so I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Nice work Ves, really clear and sharp. Why arnt you at TBK anymore?

when I raced there we ran it the other direction - it was #4 - some kid ran over a rattle snake there one time and that is what the locals called it - One time raced 4 stroke it was a Holiday IKF 1995 race over the Christmas week - another was in 80cc shifter for some other special race but that has been some time - enjoyed the track - we winter in Pheonix now and just have not gotten out to see some races.

Oh that's cool! Yeah they've changed it quite a bit now. There's concrete, and they did an overhaul so there's a lot less shrubbery and they've added a lot of facilities. If you ever come out I'm the #12 Intrepid in Jr. Tag.
