I found one post over of FM where a chap had used it on a 1.3 crop camera without issues. Looking for a second opinion or confirmation. Cheers.

I tried it on a 5D and it didn't didn't fill the frame, don't have a 1.3 crop body to try it on.

get the sigma instead, that is rated and tested on ff and 1.3 (heard works fine 1.3 with some noticeable falloff on ff)

The Sigma definitely works on 1.3x right down to 12mm. I have one.

Ok.. liked the idea of the constant f4, but I guess it is not to be. Thanks for the responses.

BTW - sorry for getting this in the wrong area..... it was late and I clicked poorly.

I looked at both and went with the Sigma. Works great on both a 1Ds MKII and 5D body. Really impressed with the Sigma lens and would not hesitate to buy another.

I use the Tokina 12-24 with a 1DmkII, and it's excellent from about 15mm and up.
