Terrific shots Alby.

Did you scoop these into a jar, or aquarium, or have you invested in underwater protection...?

Interesting to see the lava blowing a bubble. Seems this is almost universal behaviour.

No I clamped a U piece of electrical flex between two pieces of glass filled with water and added the larvae. Thanks for looking Bernie:D

Hiya Alby,
Excellent series of shots & details, these Raynox Lenses definately seem to work better with the Prosumer Camera the the DLSR.

Cheers for now

Hi Alby - yes, we must have posted at the time and I then saw your link, went back to take a look and its an interesting thought.

How exactly do you attach it?

Reason I ask, is because I have just bought a Canon 720IS for a 'handbag' camera when out in general, so would this attach to one of these?

the 720IS is similar to my G6, my guess is that it wont be as effective as if placed on a prosumer with a longer zoom. If you want to try it you need to buy Canon's 52mm filter adaptor.

Thanks for that Toby, I did wonder if the adaptor would be needed. Just curious really as to how good it would be on this little camera, but doubt I would go to great lengths to experiment, this little camera is really just for general purpose. Also for the cost of the adapter and the Raynox put together, its not really an amount of money I would spend further on a compact camera, would rather put the money towards something for my dslr.

I think it would be great all the same to see other samples of it on different cameras.
