Technically, I was first, but I'll disqualify myself since I had 'inside' information. Congratulations.;)

Wow....ummm....now I have nothing to say (slinks back out)

(pops his head back in)...though of something. Just bought a G9. UPS has it being delivered tomorrow. I have a 2nd shooter at this weekend's wedding, so I'm looking forward to busting out the G9 and seeing what can be done at a wedding with a point-n-shoot! I have it on good authority that this thing syncs up to 1/800 consistently with radio triggers :D

Well, anyway folks - as I said in the earlier thread I'm a firm believer in taking advantage of shows, exhibitions, and related opportunities to get your work out there in the public eye if you are so inclined.

Even if it's the meeting room of the local library, city hall or community center, it's a venue to feature your creativity and talent. You have to start somewhere, and every opportunity is well.... an opportunity. And not to be a hypocrite about it, I should have taken my own advice over the past couple of decades.

Well, part of the excuse was the high cost of film, developing, printing, matting, framing - but now I can't gripe about the "film" cost.
