Hey guys, I have a bride wanting a "trash the dress" session, my first, but instead of her wedding dress she wants to get the attached dress and wear that instead. The whole point is to use it for my portfolio, this probably could be but it's not a wedding dress.

Thoughts?

Kristin, I just saw your website...awesome, I love the colors you used..

Thanks! It's a total DIY jobbie and desperately needs updating...no new photos on it for over a year. Pathetic I am.

Thanks for the luck, Bryan - I'm gonna need it.

Tim - I think if you go for the drama of the scene without regard to if the dress is getting dirty then the pictures can be very powerful.

Well sure I might as well do it, but it's 2 hours drive there and 2 back, and i'm unsure whether i'd be able to use them. I can blog them though.

Location - no idea. It's winter and she doesn't seem to want to wait until summer.

I think you'll be able to use them if they are powerful images...not all brides wear traditional dresses and some might want to do it in a different dress after the wedding, but wouldn't consider it if they don't get prodded with the idea.

Tim,

I guess you have to decide if the 2 hour trip is worth it to you.. I'm not sure of putting any trash the dress on the webisite..but for sure a blog...BUT, around me if I mention TTD, they act like I'm asking for their unborn child. So, i have to take it easy, I do have a group of young girls who want to do their prom dresses and I'm trying to get permission to get inside an old plant here..

Time will tell,..

I say DO IT!
