Problem I have with actions is that I tend to overdo them...I am constantly looking to add an action to a photo, whether is makes it better or not (or weather it really even needs it to begin with)

I think she mentioned that it's part of her workflow for batch processing, so that leads me to believe that she puts them on most images. Amanda

But every situation and lighting calls for something different. When I really like something, I try it on lots of photos and love it on half of them and hate it on the other half. I really don't think there's one thing that works for every picture. And, I think that's why when some people most many pics, there are some i love and some I don't care for, because they used the same actions/levels/etc. on each picture and it just didn't work for some of them.

I'm not to the point where I have any actions that I feel like I want to batch other than ones that resize or add frames etc. Kristin

I don't really use photoshop much at all right now, only when heavier editing is required (cloning, healing large areas, etc) Ben

I'm not a callibrated monitor and I've just been looking at this damn thing too long, and I thought I had fixed it, then I looked again, and it seems like there's still a colour cast.... Excuse the bad compession.. i didn't want to have to upload to my server so I just compressed the crap out of it to make it small enough. Amanda

Ben

We were under a tree, so the filtered light was green. Atleast if all 3 of see basically the same thing, then none of our monitors can be too far off, right? Amanda

Every print I've ever made looks pretty darn close to my monitor and it isn't calibrated. I am afraid to calibrate it. I know people that calibrate their monitors and mess it up and can never figure out how to undo it.
