It definitely does...how are you today Lloyd?

I'm good. Couldn't sleep last night... should've just stayed up processing pictures.

How much time are you guys spending in post? I really don't spend much time editing pics as I used to since using lightroom.

It's hard to say, but generally I'd say 1 hour for every 1.5-2 hours of shooting.

ah that's not too bad. I will say I'm about the same.

I'm workin on my really cool photo magazine that I give to my clients with a dvd w/ pics on it.. trying to stylize the design catered to the couple.. giving it a rustic look..

I'll post pics in a few of the cover

I really need to get faster at this. I'm brutally slow. Typically I spend over 20 hours processing each wedding. And for some reason, I'm TERRIBLE at culling files. It takes me forever to do it... like 2-3 hours. It used to take me 5 hours before Jeff told me to use Pixort. It's painful.

I cull through files pretty easily.. It's choosing how each photo should look is my prob hah.. I have a few standard looks that I stick with, and my clients seem to like it.

It still takes you that long Lloyd? I can cull 2600 images in 30min to an hour max. I just go with my gut instinct. I sometimes run them through pixort again and delete even more.

yup, if you THINK you want to delete it, you probably should.. Keeps you with more 'better looking' images then giving the client an image thats only so-so.. but I'm still bad at it too..

Hell, I took 750 pics at a 2.5hour engagement shoot LOL.. took me like 1.5 hours to figure out what I wanted to delete, and another 1.5hours adjusting the 177 ones that were left to my likings.

but 3 hours from import to posted on smugmug and another hour to post on my blog and various forums.. It's really not that hard of a job :)

HOLY CRAP! 750 pics at an e-shoot? WOW!
I usually shoot about 80 pics in an e-shoot. and I thought that was trigger happy.
