Good morning/evening everyone! It's 1.30am here, i'm just back from looking after my still sick but on-the-mend girlfriend. Won't be around long time for bed soon. Just about to post my latest album up for the fun of it.

You make this workflow thing sound so easy. All I am working on is RAW files by the way. I only shot RAW. I did try to do a batch thingy where I imported all the files but then when I needed to stop it to make corrections, it would not ever let me restart it so it just got complicated and I went back to doing them one by one.

It's really easy. You just make the changes in ACR/Bridge/Lightroom, when it looks ok just close the window and go on. I open anywhere between about 3 and 30 files at a time, anything that can be done in a batch, that I can see on my screen, gets done as a batch. I often tweak the individual images too, but seriously 5 seconds each max.

I can't imagine you getting stuck tim. I really like your work

Ta :) It's taken around 3 years close to full time, and I still improve every time I pick up my camera. At least I hope I do!

How horrible is it to use the same action on like 100 pics?

I don't really use actions on images much. I have a sepia one, and midnight sepia, but they're not often used. Like I said I just want well exposed images with a good WB. I have a few actions I use, like the one that takes the output from PhotoJunction and makes either 5x7 or A4 proofs for me. Watermark ones. A few others that are more workflow and business related than changing individual images.

It takes time to work out what you need, and then to develop it.

Asbury Park! I find that place super intriguing, never been there, but I've read about it. Is it still sort of a ghost town?

I've never been to Deal, but I have been to Asbury Park quite a bit. I tend to avoid that general area of NJ but AP is quite the place. I haven't been there in awhile, so I'm assuming it still is a ghost town.

The weather is getting cold, which is just the way I like it.

So Mike is Asbury Park still sort of half abandoned? I think that would make for some really awesome shots, I really want to visit that place sometime, I've read a bunch about it on the net. Something about it intrigues me. A lot of things about New Jersey do! I used to visit the weird New Jersey website.

I'm not so sure about Asbury anymore. I haven't been down there in about 6 years or so. The last I did hear was the state was trying to clean it up, but a friend of mine went and took pictures and everything was still abandoned.

If you ever get the time to head down there let me know and I'll go with you. Someone will have to watch your back...hahahahah

The "park" itself is usually desolate, but if you park in the wrong area you probably won't have a car to get home with.

Like I said though, I'm not a good judge as I haven't been down there in awhile.
