I have a question for you guys...since so many of you are photoshop guru's...

IS CS3 worth it's price (I mean, worth that much more than elements/vs what you can do with it)?

You could just get CS2... I think it's only a couple hun on Amazon.com and other places.

I just worried about that my Xt isnt capable enough......a couple games ago i brought my camera and took pictures (from the stands) and couldnt get a fast shutter speed with ISO 1600......wish I had 3200:confused:

But maybe.....just maybe that was because I was in the stands
My theory is that if I get closer to the field ill have more light......hopefully

actually, heres a fun thought.....maybe he'll let me use his Mk. 2N:shock:

What about Kermit's nephew? I realize he is not a she but he was rather cute.

OH yeah! He's a real cutie. I don't think I meet cuteness requirements to be that muppet tho...

It wasn't that far away, a few feet maybe? I used my 70-200 f/4 IS on that day mostly. It was at the Wildlife Safari in Winston, OR. It's pretty huge. Terri used to work there. Just a bit of trivia.

BTW, less than 30 posts before I hit 10K

With the kitties :) Lions, tigers and cheetas to be exact. Here is a tip: when confronting Cheetas, or just hanging out with them, always remain taller than they are. They tend to be very shy animals and as long as you loom over them, generally won't try to eat you. :)

Mike's link to the Cthulhu reminded me of this shot I took (seeing if I can attach the image using the codes)

QUOTED IMAGE

This stuff is growing in a hot spring run ofF and had very cool movement in the water current.

OoooOooOo...at first glance I thought it was a Painting-with-lens shot!

2 hours and Im outta here :)

I hope you win Athena, with all of us voting on the same day it could happen. It seems like they weight it by average of votes per day.

Unfortunately, no. Lions and tigers (as well as the domesticated feline) are inherently arrogant. If you try to be bigger than them, they attack out of spite. :)

I've found this to be generally true with the Utah variety as well. Just saying.
