Cooking question: Noodles are done and I mis-timed it.. Wife might not be home for awhile still. Leave them in hot water to stay warm or what? I don't want her eating COLD noodles!

Get them outta the water. You can easily warm them up quickly by putting in hot water for a very short while. Leave them and they will go mushy.

NO!!! They will continue to soak up the water and get nasty. Drain them and put butter or olive oil on them to keep them from getting sticky. If they get too cool before she gets back, boil more water and drop them in it for about 30 seconds to reheat them.

Yeah I at least knew to put the olive oil on them... they're not mush per sé but they're a little softer than they should be... They're still edible though. :) Thanks for the warning.

And for some reason the colors are back to being ok I think.. ? (Signature)

Nope, the last one is a greener blue. I had a problem with the colors when I was adding the JPG Me part too. It kept going to that same greenblue color. I must have deleted it and retyped it 8 times! I can be persistent.

New toy, from the week before. His quest for the vacation was to get a landscape shot worthy to print at 24 x 36 for the wall. So he used it a lot for the landscapes.

He also invented the moonroof cam. First evening coming out of Yellowstone there was a herd of buffalo in the road. He put his camera on the monopod with the cable shutter release and stuck it up out of the moon roof in the car to take some shots, blindly. Worked out pretty well, he used this method a few other times just for yucks.

I have a lot of redneck in me, but methinks Curt has me beat by a long shot. :)

Nice new toy.

Now there is an ingenious fellow, I love the idea of the moonroof cam. Kudos to Curt, I will have to try that. :)
