Yes he did often on the B&W film shots I took...reminds me, I have to get that film out of the Rebel and developed.

Does Curt measurebate the light on every shot?
New toy, from the week before. His quest for the vacation was to get a landscape shot worthy to print at 24 x 36 for the wall. So he used it a lot for the landscapes.
He also invented the moonroof cam. First evening coming out of Yellowstone there was a herd of buffalo in the road. He put his camera on the monopod with the cable shutter release and stuck it up out of the moon roof in the car to take some shots, blindly. Worked out pretty well, he used this method a few other times just for yucks.
