But I don't wear tights and a cape.

If you did, you wouldn't be my hero. You'd be shunned. ;)

Cape, yes. Tights, a bit much. Difficult to pass yourself off as a He-Man when you're shopping for new leggings at the L'egg's section of the store.

Wow Kody, I never realized you were that much of a nerd!

My kid and I read the young reader SW books, they are pretty cool.

Uh... look who's talkin? :p
I'm a cheap nerd too... My best man passes on all the books he buys so I never have to spend a dime on them. :) I just like Star Wars, what can I say?

Wow! You've exceeded Crissa's expectations in Nerd-dom! That's something.

I'm quite prowd of myself.

I've always wanted to wear a cape. Maybe one of these days I will do it just for laughs at work. :) Maybe on one of the days when I wear all black.

I wore a cape once. I took an old Coast Guard ensign (flag) and draped it over my shoulders while I was on watch. For four hours I was "Captain Coast Guard", saving the world from my arch nemesis, Dumb Stuff.

It was a lot of fun until the Commanding Officer came on the bridge. Then it quickly became somewhat embarrassing. :o

Ok, not sure how much I have told you guys, as I have been inactive a bit lately... Well, i've been having some tests recently to see if I need/should have a surgery to repair my esophogus to stop my acid reflux and from my barretts from getting any worse. On wednesday I had a tube stuck up my nose. here's a horrible camera phone picture of it. I was still a little bit affected by the drugs so please excuse the horrible quality. lol

It was taped to my face in three places. I still have a mark on my neck from that piece of tape. :(

LOL something like that... I wish it WERE! That thing was SO irrigating. Every swallow would tug at the stupid tube, thus pulling it in my nose and irritating the heck out of it. My nose was so sore by the end of the test. I had that thing in me for 18 hours.

So, do you know if you will need surgery, or not, yet?

Even though that tube was bothersome, just be thankfull you did not have that tube in longer than that. I know a few folks who have had too have one in for long periods of time.

Yeah, I've had this one tube in me for a very long time. The thing is like 20 feet long...*

Wait, that's my small intestine. Sorry.

It's normally supposed to be 24 hours but they have found that 18 hours is adequate.. very little difference between the short and long version so they opt for the short. :)

The short answer is, yes I need the surgery. My pills are not working the way they should, so the only other real option is to have the surgery and hope for a tight fit. lol Now I just need to save up the sick time so I can have at least a week off work. I also won't be able to lift for 6-8 weeks. Probably first thing next year.
