I think I just found a panorama tool to lurve ... Hugin.

Free, GPL, Opensource ... but .. looks like it's really really useful for creating panos easily...

It even has a lurvable name .. Hug-In ... how cute is that... ;)

Samples, using a cylindrical projection (Makes most sense for a pano like this...)

No tripod at all in this case ... Just handheld.

Try hugin, seriously ... :)

http://hugin.sourceforge.net/ (external link) There's an additional piece if you want it to automatically pick your control points. I didn't get it to work, though...

Larger size version (external link)

this shows the couple tearing artifacts left behind by the automated process. It exports PSD files, so it should be rather easy to repair.

Deb, experimenting with restaurants is fun, we have found lots of neat places this way. We sometimes just ask some of our friends for ideas from new places they have been to, and liked. I know some who go to the same restaurant and order the same food all the time because it is safe, BORING. ;)

Agree, I love trying new restaurants.

I ordered my favorite cheeseburger, but I ordered the cheese under the burger, just for the change.

I'm a rebel that way.

You and Curt. He likes SMOG Pizza, Sausage, Mushroom, Onion, Green Peppers, I like Meatlovers, when we share a pizza 1/2 SMOG, 1/2 Meat, he will sometimes order SMOG on the southside and sometimes on the northside. He has even sent the driver, delivery pizza, if it isn't delivered in the right direction.;)

Looks good Mike. You planning on doing a lot of landscape panos?
