If anyone is curious, I finished adding some photos to my gallery last night. In 2004 I first started taking photos with digital cameras... I would borrow my dad's Canon S45.

This gallery (external link) constitutes a few of the photos I felt were worth sharing.

Dang... I'm 1h15 from being overly spendy.... I hate this. I'm not bidding any more, but it'll be so annoying if it goes for just a bit higher than my max bid!!

If I win it, I'll be happy, it I lose it I'll be happy. If I lose by a small margin, I'll be mad!!!

Wow that's a lot of money! What I could do with $4800!!

At the moment, it's half price for what's only taken 8500 shots, probably mainly studio-bound too.

NIce, Kody.
I love the silhouette of your wife in Jamaica, and the nightscape of Seattle with Mt Hood just barely visible.

Wow Pete, here I thought I was spending lots of money lately! I just totaled what I am owed for this summer and the current campaign and I am comfortably past a 40D...but I will resist for a while. I really want a 100 macro, a 1.4 tc *and* a 77mm CP.

I must admit to also waiting to see what they come out with in terms of the 5D, if they increase the fps I am so there on noise handling alone.

I am going to list my 300D on craigslist locally with the sigma and see if I can sell that too, then my xt will go to my SIL with the tammy.

This spendy thing is way too addictive, good luck with the auction Pete.

I am feeding my mid life crisis tomorrow and am ordering one of these ...

I lost the auction. I won't be surprised if it goes for another few hundred on top. I'm pretty sure the prices on these will go down when the 1Ds III comes out.

Woot! Very nice!

I'd buy one in red and pretend to be Judge Dredd.
