But you can't take fish on hiking trips...

Was it Becky? Someone posted the other day about being camping and an owl going after their hamster:lol:

Well... I could, but it probably wouldn't be very good for them.

I have friends to hike with now, when I feel like a little company, but honestly I do like hiking solo.

Funny you bring up workmans comp Deb, here there are ads running on the radio about workmans comp and making sure you don't see a 'company doctor' so that you don't get denied any claims.

What I hate about insurances...is the fact that they try to change their coverage policies in an attempt to not pay for doctors bills. Case in point, and true story...when my wife was pregnant with Evan...our insurance at the time denied one of her doctors visits because they said that the claim was a 'pre-exsisting' condition. I was fuming when I called the insurance company and demanded to know why a pregnancy was a pre-exisiting condition. The rep said, "Uhhh...I don't know. Let me re-process that claim."

A week before that ER visit I had gone to Urgent Care because of that car accident I was in. I never even received a bill or statement from that visit.

Thats like mine. I usually get a $10 bill or no bill but when I least expect it I get a 10% of something huge. I will say I am surprised they have never questioned me getting several opinions on stuff when I thought it necessary

Well, you could always save some of the ashes of Ashley in a small container, glass or something like that, and wear it on a necklace or keychain....that way a part of her will always be with you on any hike you go on in the future.

I like that idea. I might do that!

I was also thinking of scattering a very small portion of them at a few places we traveled to together. I can't divvy them up too much, though. It's surprising how small that bag is! I remember thinking the same thing when I got my dad's remains back, and he was a pretty big guy. But, we're something like 90% water, right? I guess there really isn't a whole lot left over when that's gone.

Wow! How much did that room cost? With a view like that, it must have been pretty pricey! Gorgeous!

Here is what I'm doing tonight at the Majestic Theater (external link)-

Orchestra seating- wondering how the stage will be set up.
Supposed to be a costume thing - I will go as an unemployed sociologist.

Yup. I'm excited! I grew up with his stuff and still enjoy it. besides, I've seen Marilyn, so I should see the original shock rocker before either of us die.:D

I'm fine, Kody. How 'bout you?

Funny thing; a show on VHI I fell into a few years ago had Alice on. One of the questions he was asked: 'What band or singer today scares you as a parent?'
His answer: 'Back Street Boys'. :)

Let's see:

Good Panning - check

Nice BG's - check

Composition - double check (every vehicle has space to move into)

Overall - 4-1/2 stars

Awesome job Jamie, I remember it wasn't that long ago you were beating yourself trying to get a decent panning shot, wow, have you got it down now.

What she said^^^

Well other than getting his head split open in gymnastics Eli had a great day! Mommy has started drinking already...

No stitches and the blood stopped, all good things. A good 1.5 inch head lac but fortunately my boy clots well!

I am glad Eli is okay!
