You need to escape the house gravity Permie...talk to your sister about that subject.

Very nice looking way to spend the week Stefan....the bride seems to have a rather large grin...guess that means she is still happy!

Conversely, if you weren't going to school, you would still be in bed and you never would have seen that sight and thought about the need to capture an image of it. Drat....better leave a few minutes early the next few mornings...just in case the need arises again!;)

Well, MWF my class is at 8:40 and I leave at 5:00-5:15... (and it only takes an hour) - so I am covered there.

But T-Thur my class is at 7:40 + time for breakfast. So my free time starting on Tu-Th is a lot less... and I could leave earlier, but I can't control when the sun rises...

Speaking of school...what's up with the PPCH? Has she expressed any further interest in playing with your camera?

I have barely seen her... I get out of school at 12:30 every day and I even stayed in the "student lounge" an extra hour because I knew she had a class after mine - but she never came by.... oh well :-D

Newsflash: okay, I think I'm over my "I'm thinking of switching back to the 5D". I gave everything a long hard look....including the reasons why I switched in the first place....looked over my shots from both cameras and am not going back. There are so many pluses to both, but I do love only having to haul one camera. And the IQ is so similar...anyway, just a little glimpse into the old brain. :)

boy is it slow in here today or what??

You want a 5D and 40D :-D

Permagrin wrote in post #4004319 (external link)
Trust me, I seriously thought about selling the M3 and buying a 5D/40D combo. It was a very hard choice not to. I think my heart will always favor the 5D...we were made for one another :)

I'm sorry to hear it. Have you been to the doctor?

If I was you... I would wait to see if Canon releases a 5DMarkII or not... Keep your MarkIII for now, it is a good camera.

not much has been going on...a lot of sickness (Dom, Tommy, Claire, myself)
Yoda switched to mac (so a lot of fainting too)
Scott and Riley are at school all the time
TD is spending loads of $ on dinners
Wuudles just got back from her son's wedding
The Chief made a yummy dinner a couple of days ago (complete with cake)
Jon just got back from a trip too.
Puddle and I have been really mellow (though I've spent my hours of sick, chatting here)
and Wool's been working around his house.
Feng's family is away
Three ran out of coffee
Spam had a birthday....
Mo's getting ready for a PNW vacation
I really can't think of anything else.

There was some other stuff, but I can't remember...

I do Wool...yesterday was the first time I left the house since the picking up of the coffee machine on the 18th! I just talked to Puddle though and we're going to take our cameras out to the preserve later. It'll be nice and not too arduous.

We were both very happy :) To our surprise our room had been upgraded to a executive suite with a wonderful view over the Atlantic. We did venture outside the hotel though ;)

Hey Tommy....I don't think people here are all that worried about composition on the landscape shots...I think most folks just want a glimpse at the countryside of a place they can only dream of visiting. I think that is why people liked the shot of Dave with the police...and the shots going in the gate at Etosha.
