Scott, this little point and shot does even better near a window where there is better light! It is so quick and easy, much faster than photocopying pages for refer to later.

But he made something out of the scanner part of a fax machine and an iPod - to read text and store the data to the iPod to later be downloaded and OCR'ed... Hahaha - so wouldn't work, but a great idea ![]() Yea, I know. I wish I had a better standalone OCR reader. I am amazed with the one that I have for me scanner, OCRs have come along way since I last used one.
