while you guys sip your wine here I am drinking a beer and watching the practice sessions for the V8 Supercars at Bathurst tomorrow. The top ten shootout (qualifying) is soon to start.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bathurst_1000 (external link)

The track itself is the most famous landmark in the small inland city of Bathurst. In total the track drops 174m from top to bottom. The race begins at the bottom of Mount Panorama and follows a series of sharp turns, steep straights and huge drops. The cars can reach up to 300km/hour near the end of the track, on the longest racing straight in Australia (1.9km in length).

OMG.... just watching the support race and as the cars are going over the top of the mountain a kangaroo jumped onto the track, cars were serving left and right to avoid it. No roos or cars were damaged.:D

Doesn't do much for our image OS, you know some tourists still think they will see roos on our city streets.

I need something stronger than wine.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

I have been listening to a book on cd when I drive to school and I heard a good line today that made me laugh.

"MRE, Meals Ready to Eat, which was really three lies for the price of one.."

(Though I will say, that I have tried some of the new ones and they are much better than they used to be... and then of course there are C-Rats)
