France beat All Blacks! now thats just unheard of.

what I same I don't care rugby :)

This is significant because USC was the top-ranked team in the entire nation. Stanford had the worst record in the PAC-10 and really had no business being on the same field (at least on paper).

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

For those of you just joining in after going out and using your cameras, this morning my picture had garnered about 17% of the vote. Wool's vote put me ahead by one, and the groundswell of support has now pushed the kids up by 8%. Go POTN! :D For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, see below:

In a completely unrelated matter, I submitted a couple of pictures to a Washington Huskies fan site just for fun.

One of the pics is up for vote this week -- no prize, other than my mom, the kids' grandma, seeing her grandkids on the giant screen at the stadium during the next game. All her friends will be there to see it, too, so no pressure.:lol::lol:

So, go VOTE! We're shot #2:

WOW! After watching USC self destruct against the Huskies last week, I didn't think there was any way they'd even let Stanford stay close. Maybe the Dawgs took a bigger toll on them than I thought. ;) In any event, there are few teams in any sport I'd rather see lose than the Trojan football team.

I just thought of one thing that makes me even happier than a Trojan loss, and that's the Trojan band not playing their Trojan dirge over and over and over and over. . .

Thanks! I realize I'm asking for a lot to send Oregon folks to the UW site. I won't tell anyone. I promise.

I see that you must have found Permie some coffee. :D

It's been quite the day for upsets in college football, eh?

I survived the bridal shower....it was a rather prim & proper sit down luncheon w/out a lot of action or interesting things going on but I shot for 2 1/2 hours none the less.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Hmmmmm....The Trojans don't even come close on my list...Notre Dame, North Carolina, Duke, Ohio State and any Ivy League school are way ahead.

I tried Chris's Bigma while we were driving - and it wouldn't AF on my 40D...
So: 500mm, MF, hand-held, 1/250, while Chris was going around 60MPH:

The Golden Domers are on the list, as are Ohio State, but I think it's the Trojan dirge that pushes them over the top for me.

Scott, your shots are incredible! I love the color. That 40D is superb.

But of course, I love the Tahoe shot the best!
