Calling macsperts HELP!

right this is driving me crazy i while ago i had adobe after effects cs3 installed on my hd it was the trail i then uninstalled it (well thought i did) I know have just purcashed after effects cs3 the full eddition to do college work. when i go to install it it says

Adobe After Effects CS3 cannot be installed because it conflicts with:

Adobe After Effects CS3

HELP

i need this up and running by tommrow so any input is greatly appreciated

Had a very lazy weekend, not got the camera out of the bag at all. Got a very busy couple of weeks at work where I take over the role development lead for my current project.

I'm back from today's outing

I went to the zoo and did a 2.5 hrs cruise on a lake. The weather was great and I'm right now downloadin 240 shots ;-)a

first we need to make sure that all of after effects is completely uninstalled (adobe leaves pieces of itself everywhere) before you re-install. So, click on your magnifying glass (in the upper corner) and search for it...this is the easiest way to see if there are any obvious files.
