Yet

Say it ain't so, Joe!

I rely on the Tupperville lobbying organization to maintain the status quo.

 !!!! Oh my, what happened!?

I suspect the peculiar NC liquor laws. "For 3000 people you can have 9000 oz. of alcoholic beverage, of any kind. More, you need a permanent brewery license. And alcoholic content doesn't matter." The county was dry up to about 15 years ago. They don't understand these things.

have you tried google?

yes

permie hav you tried that cs3 wipe program

pm me if you need help

and yes, I did. Basically, Adobe ended up with "sucks to be you doesn't it". We made a new user name and elements opened in it but not on my current one...so they said "somewhere your permissions changed and that's not our fault" call apple. Apple says "if the only thing you've done is load cs3" it's not our fault, call adobe. Right now I'm re-formatting my laptop and going to transfer my desktop info to it when it's done. The desktop never had cs3 on it so when I do an erase/re-install of the osx, then I should be able to transfer my data with no trouble. I cannot even begin to tell you, without swearing that is, how angry I am. And I will not be purchasing Adobe products again.

Measurebating time!

So here is a 100% crop of my Mount Hood photo.

Looks a bit soft personally... (in a hard, mountain sort of way...)

Here it is with a bit of USM applied (100% 0.7 0)

Looks a lot better...
Now I need to find the weak spot - the camera, lens, or operator :-D

it's interesting because on the full size shot, the mountain peak in the water looks sharper

Basically - the xxD series doesn't have all the cool AF options your 1D has :-D

Cool mountain shot, Scott....WOW!

Just popping in for a minute before I have to be off for work. Here is my little guy running through the "squirter-up fountains" yesterday, again. Temps are in the 70's....soon it will be too chilly to do this until next summer.

but you can use all points can't you? I remember that from the 30D.

I'm just trying to figure out if you used one (the CP) then the trees and the water peak would be in focus and if you used all, those would be as well as the sky but not necc. the mountain peak.

Normally I would not worry about this - but those threads about the 40D being soft are nagging at the back of my head and I want to make sure that *if* that issue is true, I want to get it fixed.
