I try to remember to put mine to center point as often as possible, because if I don't, I end up handing the camera over to my wife with an off center focus point. She takes a shot, assuming that the center point will be in focus, and ends up taking nice shots of a subject that's completely out of focus. Ooops. . . :oops:

I have to do that with my mum, that and Cf-4-1 that makes her confused.

Doesn't exactly settle it... with that lens at those distances - everything is in the DOF... the water, the trees, the mountain - the focus ring on this goes from 3' to infinity - everything was in infinity...

Problem is - you don't really know what was being used as the AF point. Might even have been a passing goose (or methane cloud). Moooo!
