Wow, the whole forum just increased in speed 10 fold.

I wonder why that was?

Weird.

Must have been some wrinkle in the space/time continuum.

(Or Permie logged off...):p

THATS what that was, wow, I swore I heard it sigh with relief

Thanks Cap'n...and thanks again for serving as the official "photographer"!!!:D

Glad you liked them. Here are some more from Saturday:

1. You and Pekka. It was great that he came all the way to officiate.

2. This is the bride just as she made her way out of the arbor. Her wings were going like crazy here. I'm not sure if it's because she was flying with the extra weight of the dress, or if she was nervous, or it was because she had some of Permie's coffee before the ceremony

3. A shot over her shoulder towards Wool. I like this. You kinda lose something when you cut it down to web size, but there's a lot of emotion in Wool's eyes here. I swear he was getting all misty eyed.

4. A nice Wide Angle of the ceremony. I'll go into a little more detail how I got this shot later.

5. That prerequisite shot of down the aisle to the altar. It's a little soft, but I think it works nonetheless.

For Wool's wedding, we rented this really cool WedCam system. It's a series of cables and pulleys that move the camera around very similar to the SkyCam that they use in Football.

I drew up a rough sketch of the system... excuse the drawings, you guys know I can't draw to save my life:

Here's a view from the side:

IMAGE LINK: http://lcimages.zenfolio.com/p595495174/e131250b4 (external link)

And the view from behind the gazebo:

IMAGE LINK: http://lcimages.zenfolio.com/p595495174/e812cd53 (external link)

It takes some practice to get used to. Here's a shot of when I got a little too close to one of the guests:
