A little effort and I could start a rampage similar to Pete's

Did I start a rampage? I thought that was gas.

Sorry.

That sounds like my wife. Awhile back...Costco was having a sale on 2gb cards for 19.99 each after instant rebates...so naturally I got two. I even told here I was going to get them and it just happend to be during the time that she was out of town. One day she sees them and then gives me the cold shoulder cause she says I never informed her of my purchase  I can never win....swear it goes in one ear and out the other with my camera related conversations with her.

Sorry to hear about it dude... :(

It's just a bloody $20 card. If I can't buy a $20 card (and I'm a working professional who paid for all the glass out of pocket), then I might as well just give up my career and become a bum.

As I said in the thread, it's tough being single. But threads like this remind me of exactly why I am.

3. or none of the above.

Why does it have to be one or the other? they're both nice, maybe in different settings.

hehe...I know where you're coming from....I just pull the same stuff with her when she wants to buy a purse, makeup, clothing or the such like all women like to do and give her the third degree. And it happens more often with her purchases and I remind her of her comments from before and she gives in:lol:.

Gosh darnit (moderator edit;)), I miss my 100-400 A LOT. Last time I went home, I left the lens behind because I didn't want to have so much stuff to carry. Now I really miss it to the point where I feel like walking out and buying a 400/5.6L.

Should I just get someone to ship my 1-4 out to me?

I've not seen it either...never really got into that cult classic of a movie. The have the yearly Rocky Horror Picture Show get together here in the theaters during October for those who want to dress up and watch the movie.

Thursday they want me to bring a knife to class! The kids will be making stone soup, and they need some adults to handle the chopping and cutting, but they were willing to settle for me.

Great Wise Chief, thanks for picking up after me :)

(I blame another horrible day and too much JB in the coke)

Great Wise Chief is subtle. I like that. As I have said, with professionals, you can drop hints and they get it. It's the idiots you have to bludgeon....

It wasn't that egregious. I'm just in my moderator mode right now...I'm dealing with another 'situation' elsewhere, and I'm p***ed.

I hate it when we're doing our best to keep the peace around here and get accused of 'taking sides.' At these wages, how can they expect perfect work?

No worries Chief, it's all good. We appreciate it's a thankless job. Now, the lightning bolts do go a little way towards making up for it though.... ;)

And do you guys think it's worth shipping the 1-4 around and carrying the extra weight? Main reason I want it is because my 724ISL is WOEFULLY short some days. Or should I just pick up a 2x TC?
