Matt, this early on you had better get credits correctly. It is well and good to have your pictures up but if no credit is given then not worth it. ...

Seconded. Or is that thirded?

To add to what SS said -- Chris bought a "new" car... and I bought a new set of tyres...:p

And here's me splurging a tiny amount on a near new tripod ... hmmmm really must get a decent paying job grrrrrrrr

Shoot as if it were film

ok c&c please for this product shot - then afterwards i'll tell you what my setup was LOL

Perhaps rotating it a little might add something to it?

Not a bad shot anyway. Nice colour balance.

Reverse macro ring shot?

The impossible has begun - another step closer - and I am very hungry for it.

Hmm, something about the shadows bother me, can't quite put my finger on it...

lol maybe its that one light source was a tiny fluoro tube and the other was the on-camera flash
backdrop: piece of white a4 paper held up at the back to make a curve
lens: 50mm @ f/8 with 20mm extension tube

thanks for the feedback guys

Amazing weather again today. Hail, sun, hail, sun, rain, hail, sun. Hmmm, what next, Snow?

Cliff

Looks like it is getting there. Temperature is dropping rapidly again... just when I stowed the heaters:o:rolleyes:

Ah, so it's YOUR fault! :D

Just a few test shots from my new (to me) 85 1.8 wide open. Seems to be in good condition, after I cleaned it anyway. Appears to be very sharp wide open. Focus is fast and spot on. Minimum focus distance is a bit long at 0.85m, which may be a little annoying. I'm happy especially for the price!

Wow, well done on the white balance in that case.

does anyone know if a 430 EZ would work as an off camera flash trigged by a pocketwizard or sync cord?

C&C welcome.
