Yeah, anterior cruciate ligament tear apparently also known as netball knee

after some reading, options seem to be stop doing stuff that pivots the knee (which isn't so fun when doing panning shots), or wearing a brace (which prevents pivoting ) or surgery, hopefully because it is preventing me doing some stuff at work at the moment I might not have to wait too long if surgery is required (or it might sway the specialist towards that option). I just want it fixed

Ouch... I feel for you. With what I have, I'm glad my doctors would only operate on me if my life depended on it...

Get well soon!

I'm at page 93 from 195!
Also it's in German. Ok My German is pretty good, but it's still my 2nd language.
I got the manuals in German, French, Italian and Dutch!

Just stirring... I learn quicker by playing with the controls rather than reading my manual... I have a 2nd language (English) but heck I still feel I can understand things better in Engrish rather than my native tongue...;)

John;)

Huh. I was looking at the smaller image earlier thinking the grass is in focus but the bird's not. Seems I was right.

Those fine strings are from a smear on her sensor:p But seriously, they're there to help support in keeping the gown up. Those flimsy white straps aren't strong enough to hold the gown up.

And the crown... she is queen for the day... or till the honeymoon is over... whichever comes first.

I hope the warm syringe unblocks things... we can't have you being grumpy all night.

Ah..... which reminds me of a wedding joke.

Why is the bride dressed in white ......... so she matches the appliances

oh another

What the one food that puts woman off sex .......wedding cake

hmm when i saw the bird i thought it was not in focus. But thats what happens when you are getting use to a piece of camera equipment first anyway.

What i find difficult is when i spot a bird but branches are always in the way. Really ticks me off. haha

So, how's the tummy Matt? I hope it's out of your system... or you could use a cork to keep it all in:p

Hey SS whats those fine string things.... cant be a bra strap.
Whats with the crown thing on her head?

the clear strings (which i never noticed the whole day until i edited the 100% crop just now) are support straps for the gown

its a tiara...
she put it on when the veil was removed

she also changed twice more into two completely different gowns - one for the reception and one for their dance

Nice pic, the 17-55 is the reason, it's 'L' quality glass. Were you using flash?

no flash for that particular shot

akiwi wrote in post #4085352 (external link)
Detail is excellent.
I would be happy with that.
Beauiful bride too.

she's gorgeous, made it easy and knew how to pose perfectly
if only she could have shared her skills with one of the groomsmen... ;)

i read the manual while i waited for the batteries to charge... but i plan to re-read it before i put it away lol
and my flash manual which i need to revise

it does... unless it was focusing on the grass... did you take the shot in a hurry? or did the bird keep still for a long time?

Hey there are many guys who are very submissive to their wives. In fact there are a lot of husbands who get beaten by their wifes yet there is no mens groups paid for by the govenment.

She has her back to him and that is just rude.
