Cheers

*touches wood* but I can do a whole day of wedding shooting without needing to change a battery... I do carry spares though :)

A bunch of Canon bits and pieces.

probably at least four - in various stages of their life-span from "nearly new" which get chosen to be used first, then there's the "3 year+" variety that get used if all else fails.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

I have two fully charged batteries. But usually one set on lasts for just one battery. And then on my next outing i use the second battery. It is my rotating system.

So who is going out to Western springs tomorrow?

Just two, One canon one, and one sterlingtek one.
I have never run during the day, and only ever had to use both while on a 10 day trip around the SI.

Would you believe I now own more AA's since getting a 30D, than I did when I just had an A80.

So long and thanks for all the flash

western springs gkpe mini monday 22nd
(i will answer for kirst since she is out of town today)

meet 12pm at the zoo for anyone who is interested, then at 2pm near the playground at western springs for a relaxing wander around the lake and a shoot (i am bringing a nikon shooter with me (be nice) who has asked me to help her learn to use her camera - lol so i first have to learn how to use it in the 10 seconds before i show her :p)

5 fully charged BP511s & a doz. 2700mah AAs for the flash or for my BGE2 battery adapter which uses 6 AAs for the camera. It may be overkill but -- no batteries = no pics.

John;)

given Kirst will be going to zoo for a couple of hours first, can I suggest the kiddies playground? (near the zoo carpark)
