Top work !

just a question for you GKPE'rs

umm did you all just start photography by just doing it for fun and because its a hobbie. And then just decided to do it as a business. What if you dont choose to do it as a business. Then what happens??

Everyone here makes cash from it (My dad included). And my mates say its a good idea to make money from it. But i dont understand why? i mean why has photography been so highly centered around money. What about art? lol...

We dont necessarily do it for the money either... Its been a hobby of mine for 15 years.. :) decided to cover weddings 2 years ago after our own wedding because I had so much fun... and the rest just fell into place.. We still maintain a full time job - so this is just an added extra on the side

I took up photography as stress relief. The business side is to pay for the gear as well as learning to run a business.

I do what I do because I love doing it and would do it for free if my wife would let me. The moment it becomes a job then time for a new hobby.

I was inspired years ago by a guy called H Hefner and I always seem to have an intrest in glamour so why not try to do it your self.

I have not made any money out of my photography. I don't care if I never do. I have no ambitions to go pro, but if someone offers me money for my work I'm not going to turn it down. I do it for fun, and because every now and then I produce an image I am really proud of. I like the gear, being able to go out and think of something other than work, the creative process, and every now and then the results. I have also met a lot of great people through a common interest in photography, so it's all good.

yea I have seen that, that's just crazy. I would have thought it would be easer to get a model of the right shape in the first place.

I wonder how good the finial result is, if you look at the image at 100% how much of the effect would one see?
