I would have thought it would be easer to get a model of the right shape in the first place. I wonder how good the finial result is, if you look at the image at 100% how much of the effect would one see? Its all in the brush size. That makes a big difference. Yes I agree 100% image would be the true test.

If the pics come out crap then dont blame the TC designers. I loose very little IQ with 300 and 2xTC. Put a 2xTC on a 70-200 and I get rubbish. hmm - my 2x on the 70 - 200 produces great results - on the 300 produces great results. © All rights given away

Found that I have a gap in my focus range, in the forest, the 18-50 was a little too short and the 70-200 too long, when will it ever end ![]() A couple of photos, this was in the Maramaurua Forest, there's a bit on a machinery graveyard there as well, will post a couple of some as well looks like fun - did the second shot result in the implied carnage? or did the following two manage to avoid the hapless rider & bike... some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Very, very close to the carnage, he was a bit ahead of the others, I saw him look up and see me (bright yellow jacket) and thought he would show off, gunned it and blew it Image hosted by forum (215384) © Mark Vuleta [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW.
