yee hehe i had to make it black and white because my ears were red :p. You know how the 10D, 20D, 30D, 5D and 1D's are all magnesium alloy. Do they feel like metal? and if you tap it does it have that metal tactile sound... it is a very dumb question. But i have never held a metal camera before. Only plastic.

Because ive noticed with my 300D it creaks and makes squeaky noises :)

Matt, the best way to find out is to buy a 40D:p

Thats right so I have a new rule no boyfriends in the studio. If I loose clients then so be it.

What Sarah said -- just make sure that it is clear with them when they sign up. Be clear that they can bring a girl friend if they are uncomfortable with the fact that you have a 300mm between your legs:p

Lil Miss I have 45 female models who will vouch for me. I do encourage and promote them bringing a female friend, sister, girlfriend, mother etc. Boyfriend are just to distracting for them.

I'm bored.
I'm sitting at the operations desk at Massey while others are up flying. What can I do?

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Yes, just earthbound at the moment. I did fly earlier today though, so it's not so bad. Besides, I'm getting paid to be here doing nothing except reading forums and photography articles.

Evening all, bit quited in hear, bit like the Wedding Forum:rolleyes:

Not much happening, just finished some photos from the twins concert at the town hall last night. Nothing special but I do like this one for some unknown reason. Quite reasonable light, could have left the camera at iso 1000 or 1600 but opted for 3200, noise isn't too bad.

I wish I could have stopped on the way in to town last night but I was heading in the wrong direction.

A rather nice Corvette on the back of a car transported went up in flames (along with 4 other cars) on the side of the motorway. I saw the truck on the side of the road going home about 5:30, no sign of flames or smoke but there was a car parked just in front of it and I thought they may have had a minor ding but when we went past in the other direction about 40 minutes later, the fire had just been put out. Bugger!

So funny. & that you have the pictures still and have scanned them too.

i dont have all of them, just a few here and there
and i scanned them because i dont have many photos from my childhood, so they bring back memories

oh - and i'm photography-obsessed... did i not make that clear earlier LOL

Ive shoot heaps alone, my wife as about 15 ft away in the lounge. Yes I will be making it VERY clear re the boyfriend not in on the shoot and why. If they cant except it dont turn up.

She either wants the best I can offer or not.

hmm - i wonder whether anyone who got nasty might not try to make trouble for you by trying to claim you were inappropriate with her? perhaps the suggestion of another female is more for your own protection than for their peace of mind?

That is a great photo. The lighting is cool.
