Evening all, bit quited in hear, bit like the Wedding Forum:rolleyes:

Not much happening, just finished some photos from the twins concert at the town hall last night. Nothing special but I do like this one for some unknown reason. Quite reasonable light, could have left the camera at iso 1000 or 1600 but opted for 3200, noise isn't too bad.

That is a very good photo in spite of the ISO3200

BOO!

I'd hate to see the day your wings get clipped;)

Oh, if one local has been thinking of using Harvey Norman for Prints.

Don't bother..

Thanks for the heads up Moppie. Have you tried the ones at Highland Park? If yes, what are your impressions?

SERIOUS QUESTION

I got a 6 foot canvas done for a present and the F***ING curier had scratched the hell out of it getting it here. what should i do?

If someone signed it... then your seriously f*cked

Hey GKPE

Read the pages of madness. John. You crack me up. haha 300mm between Tony's legs. That is very interesting how you guys say it doesnt really feel any different. But what Tony said about build quality i guess i know what you mean.

And John me buying a 40D! bahaha yeah right. Im actually very happy with what i got. Lance, you're text art is cool :p

When i was doing my telephone market research interviews today i had 3 30 year old single women. And they all sounded flirtatious. Why is that? are 30year olds super duper keen or something...

Edit:
Also what is up with the trademe site. Does it look different to you guys. Like everything is pushed to the left. I cant quite put my finger on it.

30 & single... either they are experienced and confident as Low Orbit says or they are looking for a mate... I think it is an in-built mechanism related to survival and/or propagation of the species

low orbit wrote in post #4365463 (external link)
... Also at 30, their sexual peak is looming, unlike the guys' one that apparently happens at 18....

Hmmm, does that mean I haven't hit 18 yet:p

Wish I could get my Canon 9950i to print same as my screen

You can get your printer and monitor calibrated. Wendy probably would know where. Other than that you can get Spyder Pro PrintFix

John;)

Believe... Work hard... and it will happen!

I have problems with digitalmax when I get prints done. It seems moe times than not the prints are slightly cropped and then strecthed to the size. This is really annoying, especially with aviation photography when it means a wingtip is cut off the image or something. I have no reasonable understanding of why - I make sure the image is the correct dimensions and 300dpi.

Are you with Telecom? We had this problem once and eventually persuaded a person to come out and fix it.

I have learned something this morning. Never be afraid to ask for help!

Had to email Paula about this project im working on because i cant find names of environmental managers for major corporations. She gave me some mint tips. And hey presto! man business women are so clued up with society. :p

Also about this printing thing. I got my first large print with Digital max and it came out Dark. Its on my wall but you just dont even notice it. Im going to try another print though.
