So whats everyones weekend plans ?

I have none so far and only 7 days to get my book photos done and sorted.

Working Saturday, drinking Saturday night with my dads cousin's boyfriend, staying over there, lunch on Sunday at a pub with some of the younger workmates

Meanwhile I REALLY should find time to find a couple of good phots for POTN book. Not sure what landscape image to put on. May have one in a day or two - as I'm editing the pics from Old Man of Storr (that jumping pic)

The predicted snow doesn't seem to be coming either Shame really, I wanted some snow over the lake, but I guess the frost itself was more impressive - again will get those pics completed in a few days.

Had an interesting email. They want 1000 x 600 and could pay $150 for pics of Invercargill. From these people www.100percentnz.co.nz

So how's that HDD coming on Shrimper?

I went for a fly today. It was awesome. I'm editing the pics just now, there's a few keepers

I had a quick trip to south to Dannevirke in the last couple of days for my nana's funeral. I went via napier and on the way back my brother and I spent some a hour around napier taking some photos. I didn't take as many I would like. I also shot in jpg as well. One card is a pain.

You know him? So he's legit. Seems he's been contacted by KFC for pics of invers.

Here's two from the flight today. The first one is at 7000' heading toward New Plymouth from around Hawera area, while the second is a view approaching Wanganui at 8000'. Aircraft is a Piper Seneca V.

This view, involved a 45min walk in hail storm, and then snow flurries, and very strong winds. My face must have been purple from all the lashings it took
F22, 20 seconds,ISO 50 - desaturated quite a bit, to give it a really gloomy look - exactly how I rememberd it
Very dark.. I had to clamber down the rock faces, over icy/snowy terrain, hidden paths in the dark back to the car - always loads of fun

The ones from the next morning are much warmer, the sun was out for short moments revealing the blue/pink skies

Looks excelent Warren. Nice cold & gloomy.
Bloody cold here at the moment. 1 degree & 93% Humidity. Feels cold.

Those are very cool. I particularly like the second one. Nice to see the coase & the muck the river is spewing.
