Why don't you do the kitten In a flower garden under a rainbow!

lol
actually, all those subjects were actual photos i was trying to choose between
except for the kitten

well i just had a fun 10 mins - the kitchen light bulb decided to go out in style: it blew up with a blue flash and crashed to the floor, spraying glass all over the lino

of course, all the sweeping things were in the laundry, with no access except across the kitchen floor... you see my dilemna. in the end i got some newspapers and walked across them to get the broom

then i had fun getting the bulb stub out of the fitting. i was ready to use a potato but then decided i didnt need to cos there was no broken glass in it. it was tough to get out tho.

Wow, been busy tonight.

Have a giant duck. This thing was massive, all the other ducks were dwarfed by it. Curious to see what it is. And apologies for the rather rubbish shot, this fellow was going hard out getting the bread from my hands. And yes, it was on the same level as them to give you some idea how massive it was.

It's not easy feeding a rampaging duck and taking one handed shots on macro I tell you.

You're kidding :O

This thing was the size of a small dog. Probably about 3 or 4" higher than the normal adult big ducks.

Yeah that works for me. He was fair hammering my hand to get the bread. A few seconds before that shot I had a lot more bread in my hand. Like most of a slice.

Its nice. Its what you get as a kind of starter at Chinese restaurants. There not actually pancakes rather like little nam breads. And you get thick dark soya sauce as well :)

hii-de-hi Campers!

Hope you are all dandy and fine!

I haven't read back on a single bean of the last week or so worth of posts. I may do... I may not. But that's not to say I haven't been thinking of you lot of fine folk.
New job rocks. I appear to have made my mark in the northland region already, which is fab. But that's not important.

Recoup time - it's been a whirlwind with learning my new trade. Anyone wanna' buy bricks :p

2 long visits Northland in 3 weeks has sent me shattered

Be well and all that jazz :)

I'll be back once I know which way is up ;)

Hi to any new fish :D
