only google, otherwise no, i only have 2 plugins in the normal toolbar - the exact same ones ive had for 5 years (acrobat & snag-it screen capture)

but the problem isnt limited to ie, it happens in firefox too and that has no plugins or toolbars etc

when i get the browse dialog, i click 'view thumbnails' and it either crashes immediately, or it crashes when i choose one

then we could be looking for a needle in a haystack.

how long has the crashes been happening. - is recent or a has it been a while.
If recent what other changes could have been made ?
Have you had an microshaft update go wrong ?
What other programes are running in the background ?

it happened when i tried to upload my last 2 photos last night, after uploading about 8 others with no trouble

no updates, no new software, no system messages
so i turned off the pc and figured a restart would fix it - this morning, same problem.

if i dont select thumbnails, it works fine
oh and the crashes dont appear in the event viewer - i checked

AND - if i browse for thumbnails in another application, like photoshop's 'open file' dialog - it DOESNT crash. so the problem seems to be limited to web browsers ???

havent tried the cd yet, been trying to sort this out. its next in the queue

edit:
ok so damn, my repair didnt help. still getting the same fault - what a bugger that the event viewer doesnt have any record of this, might be able to sort it, if it did

Dang... just thinking about what Tony said re the Pigeon Mountain in the Mist photo for the POTN book submission... bugger.. I have the wrong size here on my work computer... I will see whether I can upload something when I get home... though it might be too late!

I always thought that one needed to submit one picture for each category...,

How about a "grab camera out of pocket and take shot whilst riding at 60kph?" photo.

No, it wasn't with the dSLR :D

Fran, the picture doesn't seem to be loading properly... I can only see 3/4 of it...

heres a couple more from yesterday

Top stuff, I like the PP you did on those :)
Fran - Oh deer :p

I texted Dave and Bob right before their flight this morn, to wish them all the best in Wellywood. I could be wrong, but I think they are both a box of fluffies after yesterday ;)

Rocket blowers are awesome. Just captured a test shot and found a clean image. yay! I just have a little bugs leg in my viewfinder now :p dont know how to get that off.

Got an email from conferenz.
I’d like to book a time with you where we can discuss the project as well as talk about you and what you seek from a role
