Hi i am pretty new to forums and am a keen but very amature photographer.
I have just got a 400d and find most of the shots i take are coming out very dark on landscape or any other of the pre set modes, i've tried it on manual and adjusted the white balance and there's not much improvement i know i can play with the iso and aperture and shutter speeds but sometimes i just need to point and shoot and hoped for better results any advise would be appreciated

Indeed, and include the EXIF data as well if you save the file for web (which strips out the EXIF data).

(I guess you meant "shots too dark")
How are you evaluating this? On the LCD on the camera? On your computer screen? With a histogram? You need to post a pic or two...

No attachments or links - be aware that if you files are not the right size (pixel dimensions or bytes) they will no upload and you'll need to provide a link or embed them from an external source.
