Today I sold my 400D with mixed feelings.

In the total package of what I sold:

400D
18-55 Kit Lens
Sigma 70-300 APO
BG-E3 Battery Grip
Polarizing Lenses for both the above lenses
Samsonite rucksack
Wrist Strap for 400D
Extra Battery for 400D
1GB Memory card

Nothing more than 5 months old.

I sold it for exactly the price of a brand new 40D body which I ordered 30 mins ago.

What do you think? Was I in a desperate rush to get the 40D or did I get a good deal?

its a good upgrade. you wont feel as funny once you feel the weight of the 40d in your hands, and the just to know that this is better, and you have better noise control on higher iso settings. you will be happy with your trade/purchase.

Forget about using a wrist strap on the 40D, unless it is made from steel cable. ;) The 40D is larger and heavier than your Rebel XTi.

At any rate, welcome to our elite group of 40D owners!

.

-Canon EOS 40-D with vertical/battery grip, wireless remote shutter release
-Canon 10-22mm F3.5 USM (with hood)
-Canon 70-300mm F4 EF IS USM (with hood)
-Canon 28-135mm F3.5 EF IS USM (with hood)...and many more items.
