Lovely shots- quite a few of these large flying aphids around at the moment. Think these go in for sexual reproduction and lay eggs for overwintering.

Nice shots. I wonder what was on the underside of that leaf? In 1 & 2 it looks antennae or some other protrusion sticking out.-?
