Selective Color?

I rarely use it, however I feel like it is subtle enough to work here.

Any other selective color haters here? C&C please.

I'm not a selective color hater. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't. My personal opinion is that in this case it does work. I also like how you left the color on the lettering that is the same color as the flower. Does she have blue eyes?

I agree. This works nicely. My only real problem is the words on her sweater. It's a little bit distracting for me. Other than that, it's a great capture and editing.

I really did little else other than de-saturating a few colors (yellow, red, green). The lettering had the same coloring as the flower so it stayed.

Thanks for the nice words. I generally feel that selective coloring is contrived and distracting. When I look at this shot though, I still focus on her eyes.

She does have very pretty eyes but the sun was behind her right shoulder I think. The eyes really didn't stand out.

I like the subtle selective coloring... just like what you have. It's not too overpowering. Great job!
